Monkey Shoulder Old Fashioned Lunch

Monkey Shoulder took over Vitelli’s Upstairs for an intimate Old Fashioned lunch, with Mitch Orr behind the menu and Taf Chiwanza from Secondz helping bring the experience together.

Built around the resurgence of the Old Fashioned, the event paired Monkey Shoulder cocktails with a menu shaped around acquired taste, nostalgia and a modern take on the classic serve.

The room had a lot to work with: low light, warm timber, red velvet, vinyl-lined walls, candlelit tables and Monkey Shoulder bottles worked through the space. A proper little drinking den with plenty of texture in the corners.

Our coverage moved between cocktails, food, guest portraits, table moments, venue details and the natural interactions that gave the lunch its shape.
